Students learn the practice of multi-regional dance steps from Mexico with an emphasis on Ballet Folklórico. Students will learn about wardrobe, dance techniques, and choreography.

Learn the basics and performance routines in each of the following Latin dance styles: Salsa, Cha-Cha, Merengue, and Bachata. Students are encouraged to perform the routines they learn individually, in small groups, or as a whole class for an audience chosen by the school.

In this fast - paced and energetic class students are pushed to memorize simple routines while learning what it takes to perform for an audience. They will learn the fundamentals of music counting and how to hit every move on beat. This class will have the opportunity to perform at an event of the school’s choice.

Students have a blast and join their friends in learning fun group dances that their favorite influencers on TikTok are posting. This class partners exceptionally well with our “YouTube Influencer” class since it offers an opportunity for individual and class performers to be seen by their peers in an atmosphere similar to TikTok.
