    Sew What?

    Students practice persistence while sewing two self-choice projects by hand. Depending on grade and experience, students will practice some of the following basics of sewing techniques: whip stitch, catch stitch, basting stitch, running stitch, back stitch, overcast stitch, slip stitch, ladder stitch, blind hem stitch, french knot, chain stitch, satin stitch, detached chain stitch, etc. Projects made by students can be taken home to keep or gift to family and friends.

  • Friendship Bracelets

    Crafts for Kids

    A Taylor Swift concert isn’t the only place you can find creative friendship bracelets. Participants in this class will show-off their design skills while making bracelets for their family and friends. Giving a bracelet to someone you don’t know is an excellent way to make a new friend. The class will also teach students the many different ways to make and keep friends.

  • Face Painting

    Face Painting

    Students express themselves by putting color, designs, and expressions onto the arms and faces of friends. Everyone loves to have their face painted at a carnival. Now students have a chance to learn how to create Beyond Exciting facial designs that will wow everyone. This class partners best with a School Carnival for students to show-off what they’ve learned with friends outside of this class.
